Peter is responsible for research support and public outreach at the Berman Institute of Bioethics. He graduated from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia with a BS in Pharmacology and Toxicology and a minor in the Humanities. Post-graduation, using his degree in pharmacology, he began to work in a laboratory at the University of Pennsylvania, Perelman School of Medicine. Still faced with lingering questions proposed through his humanities education, he was moved to enroll in UPenn’s Master of Bioethics program, which allowed him continued participation in a captivating discussion.

In the summer of 2014, Peter served with the World Medical Association at their secretariat office in Ferney-Voltaire, France. While there, he advocated for higher standards of medical care for transgender patients and a more comprehensive code of ethics within international sports medicine.
