Diana Mendoza-Cervantes

Diana completed her dual degree, B.S. in Neuroiology and Physiology and B.A. in Philosophy, at the University of Maryland in College Park. Since graduating in 2013 she joined the Center for Global Health at the National Cancer Institute as a Cancer Research Training Fellow, during which she worked on projects ranging from access to low cost HPV diagnostics, breast and cervical cancer in the Andean region of Latin America, and women’s cancer stigma in low and middle income countries.  Her research interests include vulnerability and consent in international research ethics, and exploitation in global health ethics.
